Remembering Chuck Linderman

We are very saddened to share the news that Charles “Chuck” Linderman, one of the founding athletes of CARP, and a longtime, beloved member of the CARP and Capital family recently passed away. Chuck was a loyal, passionate, dedicated rower who is remembered fondly by coaches and teammates. Chuck hated to miss a workout, on erg or on water, and he’d often have some colorful, enthusiastic phrases to keep things spunky especially during the winter season. He often spoke of the importance of his participation in rowing to maintain his mobility, independence, and overall well-being (hear it from the legend himself via the WJLA Rising Stars interview). In celebration and memory of Chuck, his family has graciously invited friends and family to send donations to CARP in lieu of flowers. Please join us in giving, and celebrating Chuck’s legacy.
