Details:
The regatta includes sweep and sculling events for junior, master, open, and adaptive rowers.
Novice categories do not have age requirements. Novice is a defined as someone for whom 2025 is their first year of racing.
Junior is defined as a competitor who, in the current calendar year, does not attain the age of 19.
Master is defined as a competitor who has attained or will attain the age of 21 during the current calendar year. A competitor's age is determined as of December 31 of the current calendar year.
Open has no restrictions.
Bow Numbers:
Please bring your own bow numbers if possible.
On-Site Water:
Please bring reusable water bottles as we will have potable water on site.

Our regatta is powered by incredible volunteers. We have a number of land- and water-based opportunities to lend a hand. Sign up here and contact volunteers@capitalrowing.org with questions.
Trailers:
IMPORTANT: Due to the anticipated size of our regatta, teams with trailers must schedule an arrival time and request any special accommodation by contacting the regatta director. We will try to accommodate every request and ensure that there is adequate space for you.
Teams with car top scullers must unload at the boat house and move their cars to the designated parking area at Maritime Plaza.
Parking:
Parking for rowers and spectators will be at Maritime Plaza Upper Parking Lot at 1201 M Street SE, which is approximately 0.5 miles from the boathouse and race course. Upon entering M Street, Regatta volunteers will help direct you to the appropriate location. A free shuttle will offer pick up and drop off service for rowers and spectators between the parking lot and the boathouse. Rowers and spectators may be dropped off closer to the boathouse at the designated drop off location. Boat trailers, car top scullers, race officials and handicapped parking is available at the ACBA Boathouse, 1900 M Street, SE, Washington, DC.
NOTE: Vehicles parking at non-designated areas along M Street, SE will be towed or ticketed by the DC Metropolitan Police.
