Founded in 1988, CRC is home to an active membership of more than 400 rowers from the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia. Situated on the banks of the historic Anacostia River, CRC offers sweep and sculling programs for people of all ages, of diverse background and of all ability levels, ranging from novice programs to recreational programs to competitive racing for advanced rowers to adaptive rowing.

CRC Coaches are the heart of our programs and we recruit year round for coaches of all experience levels to join our team. We have a vibrant rowing and coaching community, and welcome the opportunity to introduce new coaches to the profession. Our coaches generally coach part time, with a variety of schedules and numbers of days per week. Active CRC coaches that coach a minimum of 30 sessions each calendar year also qualify for free club membership, and many coaches are active Masters athletes.
